Tamar Fudge Online Shop — Refund and Returns Policy

At Tamar Fudge, we hand-make small-batch artisan fudge fresh in Tasmania. We want you to be thrilled with every order. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to fudge purchased through our online shop only.

2. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
If your fudge is faulty, damaged, unsafe, or not what you ordered, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. We will always honour those rights.

3. When we offer refunds or replacements
We will refund or replace your fudge if:
- It arrives damaged or spoiled
- You received the wrong flavour or quantity
- It does not match the description on our website
- There is a quality defect

We cannot refund or replace fudge if:
- You change your mind after purchase
- You ordered the wrong flavour and the fudge has already shipped
- The fudge has been opened, stored incorrectly, refrigerated, or partly consumed

4. Photo proof
Please send:
- A photo of the issue
- A photo of the full packaging, including order number

5. Storage and handling
Once delivered, fudge must be:
- Kept in a cool, dry place
- Away from heat, sunlight, and moisture
- NOT refrigerated

Fudge damaged due to incorrect storage cannot be refunded.

6. Timeframes
Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your fudge if there is a problem.

7. Shipping costs
- Faulty, damaged or incorrect fudge: we cover replacement/refund costs.
- Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

Include:
- Order number
- Description of issue
- Photos
- Contact details

9. Outcome
If approved, we will:
- Refund via original payment method, or
- Send a replacement at no cost.
